How we use your information
Your health information is used for providing your medical care, treatment coordination, and ensuring your safety during treatment, and for running your account, such as payments and pharmacy orders.
How we use your information: Provide telehealth medical services, communicate about treatment and appointments, process payments and manage billing, comply with legal and regulatory requirements, and improve our services.
HIPAA compliance
We are fully HIPAA compliant and protect your health information according to federal privacy regulations. Your information is encrypted and securely stored.
Information sharing
We do not sell or share your personal health information with third parties for marketing purposes. Information is only shared as necessary for your medical care.
We may share your information with healthcare providers involved in your care, compounding pharmacies filling your prescriptions, payment processors for billing, and as required by law.

We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your information during transmission and storage.
Text messages (SMS)
What we collect: If you opt in to Big Blue Care account texts, we store your mobile number and a record of your consent: the wording you agreed to, where you agreed (your Profile page, sign-up, after a check-in, or by replying START), the date and time, and the device information sent with that request. We use it only to send the account texts you asked for and to honor STOP and HELP.
No sharing for marketing: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the categories of sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Our texting provider: Texts are delivered through our texting provider, Twilio. Twilio handles your mobile number, the texts we send you, and any texts you send to our number only to deliver this service. Please don't text medical questions; message Dr. Mitchell in your patient portal instead.
